Hi!
I am Jeff Pfeiffer, an actor born and raised in the Philadelphia, PA area. In addition to Philly, I also work as a local to NYC, Maryland (including Baltimore), New Jersey, Delaware, and throughout Pennsylvania (including Pittsburgh). I am willing to travel as well. I am a graduate (cum laude) of The University of the Arts' BFA Acting program.
Ok, those were some actual factual serious time facts but now lets chat. When I was 9 I began acting in my elementary school's summer theatre program, where many of the audience members raved that the production was better than Broadway! And even though it may seem this way, these critics' reviews had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the fact that they were the parents of the children in the cast. At this time in my career I thought to myself "I've already had my big break so I'm set for life" but decided not to retire my acting craft as I hadn't got to say any lines on stage yet. I made sure my director got the message that the following summer, that I wanted to have lines and it worked! Wow this acting thing is really easy, I won't have to put in any hard work at all!
I continued to act through middle school and high school working on school productions as well as community theatre. Some past credits from middle school you may recognize me from are Benny SouthStreet (except for the opening number, I think Kevin or Joey got to sing Benny in that song about the horses) in Guys and Dolls Jr. and Mr. Darling AND The Crocodile in Peter Pan Jr. That's right I was such a phenomenal artist that I played 2 roles. It wasn't just because I was the tallest kid in the cast as that would be preposterous.
In my Junior year of high school I was thinking about college because my guidance counselor said I should be thinking about college. I wanted to attend a school not super far from home and I didn't want to take math. I hadn't gotten a passing grade on a math test since freshman year of high school. I only passed my math classes because I pretended to try really hard. This is another prime example of my phenomenal acting skills put to use. The University of the Arts was my top choice. A school near home, and I didn't have to take math.
I graduated in May of 2021 and have begun my professional acting career!
